Jackfruit happens to be one of my most favourite vegetables, whether it has ripened up or is still raw. I absolutely love the raw jackfruit curry, it almost tastes like chicken curry. The jackfruit-potato curry or Kathal Aalu Curry (Panasa Alu Tarkari) used to be my most favourite curry when I was a child and it still continues to rule my heart. I tried following mummy's recipe today and voila, it indeed came out fantastically well.
