The fireworks featured more than 10,000 individual firework shots from the exterior that were designed by French alpinists.

Originally conceived by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, the construction of three hundred islands was initiated in the year 2003. This is one of those places in Dubai where one could experience a high-octane thrill of a post-modern human civilisation. These islands will house a lot of luxury resorts, lavish restaurants and sky lit floating homes.
Ski Dubai
One of the reasons to venture out in Dubai and fall in love with adventure is Ski Dubai. It is an indoor ski resort; part of Emirates Tower which is one of the largest shopping malls in the world.

Ski Dubai was opened in November 2005 and is an indoor ski resort with 22,500 square meters of area. It consists of 400-metre-long run, world's first indoor black diamond run and other features such as rails, kickers and boxes that are updated regularly. One of the prime features here is an 85-metre-high indoor mountain with 5 slopes of varying steepness and difficulty. There is also a cable-car that carries skiers and snowboarders up the mountain. There is also a3,000-square-metre Snow Park adjoining the slopes that serves as a play area comprising toboggan runs, climbing towers, icy body slide giant snowballs and an ice cave.
